Analysis of the structure and composition of the aneurysm wall, and of its cellular components responses to biomechanical stress.

Pathway & statistical modelling

Generation of a dynamic mechano-biological transduction model of the disease, and development of a statistical disease model.

SP4

Fluid structure growth framework

Establishment and performance of the computational fluid dynamics and structural mechanical simulations. Development of gender-specific estimations of the pathological flow conditions encountered at different disease stages (WSS, pressure, intramural stress).

SP5

Infrastructure for managing the patient registry and disease model

Collection of readily available and future imaging and clinical patient information on intracranial aneurysms in a new database - AneurysmDataBase (ADB). Development of the interface and management of the database.
